2019 - 2020 Operations Lead, Photo at SmarterTravel Media

• Project Manager for online features, email newsletters, branded advertorial content, and social media campaigns. 

• Created the visual style guide and direction for photography for brands SmarterTravel, Airfarewatchdog, and Family Vacation Critic and trained writers and editors on visual best practices.  

• Coordinated with the editorial team members to identify photography needs.

Defined visual branding for SmarterTravel.com & worked with editorial team to maintain cohesive brand identity consistent across website and social platforms.

2015 - 2019 Operations Lead, Photo at Oyster

• Launched photo programs at CruiseCritic and FlipKey (Vacation Rentals) that scaled to photograph 130 cruises and 12,000 properties by 2017.

• Developed new types of imagery like Panoramas and Virtual Tours published on Tripadvisor and Oyster sites.

• Designed and developed new CMS that included image ingest software to speed up delivery of assets and improve productivity. 

• Devised and executed social media strategy, increasing traffic across Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, growing Instagram followers 10K by year-end 2016.

• Produced photo and video shoots at hotels and travel destinations.

• Hired, trained and managed over 50 photographers and videographers globally, acting as the main point of contact for freelancers and serving as the gatekeeper for creative operations.
